After four years (and a global pandemic), FNS-Cloud will launch the first-generation cloud-solution for food data in Brussels (BE) on 12 and 13 September 2023.
Two days of results and hands-on use of open and FAIR food and nutrition security data, tools, and services from the FNS-Cloud project. Join in person or online. Existing data on food safety, knowledge and tools for the health and agri-food sciences, although widespread, are fragmented, lack critical mass and access is distributed unevenly to users.
This means that data is not readily available, accessible, interoperable or reusable (FAIR) and that existing services focus on clinical, molecular or biological sciences. FNS-Cloud is bringing change through more equitable standards, demonstrators, services and data on food security.
