Education for Social and Economic Sustainability

Regenerate our cities and repopulate internal areas with sustainable approaches and in line with the UN 2030 Agenda - San Gemini, 20-21 October 2022

The event will be held on 20^th and 21^th October 2022, at the Teatro Comunale di San Gemini and live on the YouTube channel of UnitelmaSapienza, the two-day event sponsored by the University of Rome UnitelmaSapienza and the Umbrian municipality, in collaboration with METROFOOD-IT.  The event aims to develop ideas and projects in the territory related to sustainability education. The San Gemini event, will provide an opportunity to reflect on the theme of Sustainability, started last year with a focus on education, this year the theme will be Regenerate our cities and repopulate the internal areas with sustainable approaches and in line with the UN Agenda 2030, two challenges that involve citizens and that result among the main objectives to be pursued, in the short and medium term, using the resources made available by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan NRRP. The integration of training and information, through transdisciplinary approaches, and then the role of the digitization of information that allows us to explore new ways of creating "awareness", in different spaces and times. The event will be opened by Luciano Clementella, Mayor of San Gemini, Antonello Folco Biagini, Rector of UnitelmaSapienza and Paola Agabiti, Councillor for Culture Umbria Region.  The second edition is sponsored by Regione Umbria, The most beautiful villages in Italy, Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Terni e Narni, Pro San Gemini, Cantina Violati.  Media partner: The Post Internazionale TPI, Terni Today, TuttOggi, Unione Stampa Periodica Italiana USPI, Paese Italia Press.
